Spanish Rice

1 cup white rice

2 T oil

2 ½ cups water

1 small can tomato sauce

1 t salt

¾ t chili powder

1/8 t garlic powder

Cook rice in oil in a saucepan until golden brown. Add in the rest of the ingredients, bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for about 18-20 minutes, until all the liquid is absorbed. Serve while warm.
